FAQ about Postiz for nonprofits
What does self-hosted Postiz cost?
The self-hosted edition has no software licence fee under AGPL-3.0. The official repository states unlimited channels, posts and team members. Hosting, configuration, maintenance and any external services remain the operator's separate costs.
Is Postiz discounted for nonprofits?
No nonprofit discount is stated on the official repository or pricing pages checked. The qualifying no-fee path is the AGPL-3.0 self-hosted software for any organization able to operate it, not a special nonprofit subscription.
What costs remain outside the free licence?
The organization must provide infrastructure, platform credentials, configuration, maintenance, updates and backups. External API or platform costs may also apply. Postiz Cloud is a paid managed option, while the cited record does not state its price.
When is the self-hosted free path relevant?
The no-fee licence is relevant when the organization can provide and administer its own infrastructure. The cited access model does not publish a Cloud price, so a nonprofit seeking managed hosting would need a separate quote or current paid-plan terms.
